At Hearing
Central, a highly qualified Audiologist will always provide testing, prescriptions, and
follow-up service.
We are members of your community. Hearing Central has been providing local services to Barrie for more than 10 years. Our staff live and work in the Barrie area. We have strong relationships with the local medical community including family physicians, ear, nose and throat physicians, service clubs, Canadian Hearing Society and Educational Hearing Specialists. Our neighbours are our clients.
Tani Nixon, M.CI.Sc Audiologist, Owner
Tani graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters Degree in Clinical Science. Previously, she held the position of Director of Hearing and Speech at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie and the Canadian Hearing Society in Toronto. Tani began her private practice in 1993, with a focus on hearing aids. Tani is a current member of the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), and the Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA).
